and i disagree.
awards are celebrated as a bonus. it is not the end all or be all of your craft.
the most it can provide is a doorway to more opportunities.
it doesn't hurt to want to be recognized from time to time, for all the hardwork you put up to be able to give birth to a certain project.
whoever says that awards are useless haven't received any, yet. you try to be intellectual but that's just the bitter monster talking.
being nominated means you lost. however winning awards don't mean everything.
